Big firm experience. Small firm service.

While our education & experience allows us to go toe to toe with “big firm” estate planning lawyers, MGD Law attorneys prefer practicing in the “small firm” environment – where we can help you implement the customized estate, trust and wealth planning that is right for you, your goals, and your loved ones, rather than forcing our clients into “cookie cutter” or incomprehensible plans. We not only aim to do the right thing, but to do what’s right for you.

Our Approach

Our Team

MGD Law was formed when Lisa D. McLaughlin and Beverley J. Greenley joined practices in 2018. They are accompanied by Adrienne J. Davis, whose experience includes both private practice estate and wealth planning as well as in-house senior Counsel at a local trust company. The partners are supported by an expert team of attorneys, paralegals and staff, who are all committed to providing smart, practical, personalized service.

Our Services

  • Estate & Trust Planning

We offer expert guidance in wills, trusts, and powers of attorney to guide you in designating responsible parties for financial and health affairs during incapacity, emergency and post-death.

  • Advice for trustees & personal representatives

If you have been named as a legal representative in a trust or will, we offer legal advice to ensure compliance with your duties and responsibilities.

  • Tax Advice

We are experienced St. Louis estate planning attorneys, well equipped to advise you on a variety of tax issues related to estates, gifts, and families.

  • Advanced Planning

We can help families and businesses ensure a smooth transition of wealth and business roles to the next generation, minimizing taxes and conflict.

  • Charitable & Nonprofit Advice

We consult with organizations to help them design and establish nonprofit and charitable entities along with continuing tax and compliance advice.

  • Post Death Administration

If you are a beneficiary or family member of a recently deceased individual, we can help with that individual’s post death administration of assets held in the estate or trust.
